Action4 was created in 2011, as the successor to the longest running UK telecoms trade association, the Premium Rate Association. It is a membership driven, self-regulating organisation dedicated to the present and future development of the premium rate industry in the UK.

Action4 is the trade association for the UK premium rate and non-geographic calls industry; it provides the ability for its members to network between themselves to the benefit of the industry and their companies. We work on various industry issues and consultations and deal with major industry changes. Action4 also ensures that industry views on such matters are properly represented to the relevant bodies. We liaise with these bodies, and also publishers, equipment manufacturers, network operators, service providers, information providers and any parties involved in the industry. We are members of the CBI and pass them the opinions and views of our members to build into their lobbying activities.
